Quick Read: In the Tall Grass by Stephen King & Joe Hill

Father and son unite to write this short story. It’s a really quick read, I actually bought and read through on the same day. Only a couple hundred pages! Good read, much better than Mile 81, I thought. There is one series of scenes toward the end, though … (shivers).

In the Tall Grass is a short story of a brother and sister who hear a cry for help in a tall field of grass. They run in to offer assistance, but then find themselves in a bit of a jam as well. Quick, creepy and at one point disturbing. I like that in a good story 🙂 There is also a bonus section at the end that gives us a sneak peek of Doctor Sleep, the sequel to The Shining.
