New Years is coming up, folks. I know, I know,
“But it’s not even Christmas yet, James. What are you doing talking about New – Oooooooh, I get it!”
Yes, that’s right. New Years Resolutions are upon us.
I’ll go ahead and be the first to admit – as you’ve witnessed on this blog – that my resolutions were utter failures. No weight was lost that stayed off. No bills were paid that maid a difference. And as for being a better person, friend, coworker, blah-blah-blah.
So what will we do this coming year that will top the previous one? If you’re like me, it’ll probably just be the same old things. Weight loss. Money. Spirituality and family. I especially need to work on the family one. There’s some issues out there that I’m not sure how to deal with, but that really need to be taken care of.
Oh, another resolution for 2015: Don’t make such a big deal over resolutions. It’s just a thing, man. We don’t need to debate it all year long. Everyone does it, more than half fail and the other half were probably already doing them anyways.
So whatever your New Years Resolutions are for the coming year, may you have all the success you deserve.
