Adventures in Car Buying, Part Five (The Finale!)

It’s time to introduce you to the choice we’ve made. That’s right, just over a week later, we’ve decided on a vehicle. Mind you, getting to this point took some time, reasoning and perhaps a little something short of a miracle. My wife has countered me at every reasonable attempt at logic I’ve made. She hasn’t countered me with logic, she’s instead tried to trick me by using ridiculousness! Aha! But we’ll get to all that later. For now, I give you our future new vehicle. A loaded 2016 Nissan Rogue SV.

That is not a random photo, that is the actual vehicle. The dealership actually pulled it into the showroom and placed a Sold sign on it until we could return for it. I admit, it’s a pretty sweet car despite my originally wanting to go with the Honda CR-V. As luck would have it, we stumbled upon this one by accident, shortly after my wife had an epiphany.

Here’s a run down of the spec sheet for the car from the dealer website. Once we got to looking at it and the salesman started talking, there’s actually a bit more that isn’t even listed here.

And of course, my wife arriving at home in her new car. Of course we have disagreements. Of course we have fights. But I do love her and am glad we’ve been blessed enough that I could do this for her. Does it hurt that her birthday and Valentine’s were both this month? Of course not! I’m calling this her belated birthday and Valentine gift. She deserves it!

Thanks for following along on our car buying adventure!
